How it Works
The way the Tri-Bolt® works is that when the lever is in the down position the bolt is engaged up into the door jamb. When the lever is in the up position the bolt is disengaged from the door jamb. The reason for this mode of operation is that if the bolt ever did fail, the use of your exterior active doors is not disturbed.
